April kicks off our Kindness Garden
The weather is getting warmer and warmer by the day and we are excited to get out and spruce up the Kindness Garden. The Kindness Club supports students from April to the first of June with experiences in the garden. Each week in April we will support a grade level to help with the garden. In the month of May we will continue with small groups of students from the Kindness Club as they tend to the garden until our workday June 3rd.
Students will be exposed to garden books, tending to the garden, planting clean up and beautification.
The first week in April the early childhood discovered flowers, seeds and bugs.
The second week in April students will learn about planting vegetables and keeping our garden clean.
The Third week after a fun spring break students will plant vegetables and fruits in the garden beds, discuss the life cycle and engage in painting in the garden.
We are always in need of support with gloves, tools or garden books. Support a great cause by donating or come out and support our June Garden workday!
